The ISWE board has been hard at work planning an amazing program for ISWE 7 South Africa in Kruger National Park. The conference program includes two plenary sessions, over 35 oral presentations, and a poster session. Social events include an icebreaker boma dinner, afternoon tea breaks, and a bushbraai (dinner in the bush). There are also many optional activities, including a visit to a rhino boma, a birding trip, and a sunrise game drive. The program is structured so that conference attendees can easily enjoy the park as well as the science!
The organizers have also just released details on an affordable poster printing option, which will save attendees the trouble of carrying posters on long flights.
